THE POWER OF PRAISE:

Do you ever feel that God is far away? The Bible teaches that God inhabits the praises of His people. The practice of praising God will fill your life with energy, hope, faith and power. Are you living a life filled with praise?

According to Scripture, praise is an act of our will that flows out of a deep awe and reverence for God. As you focus your mind on Him and begin to proclaim His goodness a wave of peace will flood your soul (Isaiah 26:3). As you draw near to the Father in praise, He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

Praise secures God's loving protection for your life (II Samuel 22:47-51). It also helps you restore a right relationship with Him by acknowledging your dependence and gratefulness for His provision.

Disguised as an "angel of light," Satan works to subvert the praise of God's children. He will try to convince you that you're self-sufficient. But, he's a liar. Even your next breath must be ordained of God.

In good times, praise the Lord!

In bad times, praise the Lord!

Praise Him in the morning … praise Him in the evening … praise Him, when the sun goes down!

"Sing to the Lord, all the earth; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; He also is to be feared above all gods" (I Chronicles 16:23-25).
